The song is on the soundtrack of “This Is It!” . . . the upcoming documentary on Michael’s rehearsals for what was supposed to be a run of 50 shows at London’s O2 arena.

The soundtrack will be out October 27th. The movie hits theaters the following day.

Michael Jackson’s controversial doctor has released a video on the internet saying he “told the truth” about the singer’s death.

Dr Chad Murray made his first public comments about the investigation into the circumstances around MJ’s heart attack.

Reports have claimed that he administered the star a massive dose of painkillers soon before he dies.

The Drug Enforcement Agency have also raided offices belonging to Murray.

In the message he said he wanted to thank people who had given him support. He explained:

“Because of all that is going on, I am afraid to return phone calls or use my e-mail.”

“I recorded this video to let all of you know that I have been receiving your messages. Your messages give me strength and courage and keep me going. They mean the world to me.”

The Jackson family have repeatedly blamed the doctor for the King of Pop’s death. Earlier this week Michael’s mother Katherine said she was considering legal action against him.

A spokesperson for the Jackson family has confirmed that Michael Jackson will be buried in a private ceremony on August 29, what would have been the singer’s 51st birthday.

According to TMZ, Jackson will be buried in the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, home to such fellow stars as Clark Gable, Jean Harlow and Nat King Cole. The private ceremony will reportedly take place at 10 a.m. and be limited to family and close friends.

The Jackson family had reportedly been split over where the singer should be buried, with brother Jermaine favoring a Graceland-style memorial open to the public at Jackson’s former Neverland Ranch.

Jackson took leave of Neverland in 2005, after being acquitted of child-molestation charges that followed a 2003 raid on the estate. Some family members were said to be against the idea of a public memorial at the home that Jackson said he no longer wished to visit.

The burial of the singer, who died on June 25, comes as police continue to investigate his death. The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office has completed its investigation into the case and has put a security hold on the results pending the findings in the police probe, which has included investigations into several doctors who dealt with Jackson, but which has focused on his personal physician at the time of his death, cardiologist Dr. Conrad Murray. No charges have been filed in the case.

The judge hearing the execution of Michael Jackson’s estate got the chance to play studio exec today, effectively greenlighting “This Is It” by signing off on a deal allowing Columbia Pictures to turn AEG’s footage of the singer’s rehearsals (and, as it happens, final days) into a feature-length film.

The film, for which Columbia wasted no time setting the Thrillerific release date of Oct. 30, was approved after “very aggressive” negotiations.

Katherine Jackson and the attorneys for the estate, John McClain and John Branca, agreed to the deal on Friday. Per the terms, Columbia will pony up $60 million for rights to the footage of his London prep work.

To sweeten the pot, AEG promised that 90 percent of the film profits would be funneled back into the estate.

Neighbors of MICHAEL JACKSON’S Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara are dead-set against it becoming a tourist attraction.

But it might still become one . . . in LAS VEGAS.

Colony Capital, the company that became part owner of the ranch and saved it from bankruptcy, is working on plans to dismantle Neverland and rebuild it as a Graceland-style shrine just outside the Las Vegas strip.

The new Neverland would include a museum, a theater, and possibly even a BURIAL PLOT. And thus, the chaos over where Michael will be laid to rest continues, just when we thought it was over.

The estate is said to be seriously considering this idea, which would cost TENS OF MILLIONS of dollars.

A so-called “source” says, quote, “The idea is to take physically everything that’s not part of the dirt and reassemble it in Las Vegas.”

There’s also talk of a Michael Jackson tribute show being set up at one of the major hotel-casinos.

After Michael Jackson died, his sister Latoya may have gone into his rented mansion and made off with hard drives full of Michael’s unreleased music.

Frank DiLeo, who was managing Michael at the time of his death,says that the family pretty much took everything that wasn’t nailed down. And he believes that much of it, including all that music, is currently at the Jackson family home in Encino.

He told “Rolling Stone”, quote, “They backed up trucks, removing everything. They thought Michael owned it all, so they took even the rented furniture. That’s who’s going to run his estate?”

DiLeo said there were at least 100 songs, quite a few of which were recorded back in the 1980s, when Michael was at his best.

There’s also some newer stuff that he recorded with WILL.I.AM, AKON and NE-YO.

DiLeo said that lawyers for the estate will be asking the family to return the drives so they can be logged along with Michael’s other belongings.

Michael Jackson’s father Joe has signed a legal document promising not to raise his grandchildren – as per his late son’s apparent wishes.

Joe states that he consents to wife, Katherine, being the guardian of “my grandchildren Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, and Prince Michael Jackson, II”.

The papers state that, while he will visit the kids, he agrees he will not be the one making the decisions about their upbringing.

“I have had a close family relationship with these grandchildren since their birth,” Joe says in the court declaration filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

“I do visit the family residence from time to time and will continue to do so, however I will not be involved in raising the children… I understand that all decision-making authority regarding the children will rest with Katherine Jackson… Katherine Jackson is a wonderful caretaker and guardian, and has done an excellent job raising our children and other grandchildren.”

Jackson’s mother Katherine was named the children’s permanent guardian during the brief court hearing on Monday.

It’s claimed the Jackson family feared Joe – who has been accused of violence against his own children, including Michael – may have jeopardised Katherine’s chances of being awarded custody had he insisted on playing a significant role in the siblings’ upbringing.

The singer’s will named his mother as the children’s guardian in the event of his death. His father wasn’t mentioned.
